I like the head light washer jets. I thought UK spec needed wipers for the headlights...guess it's just some method of 'clearing'.

 

The headlight washers are optional in the UK... They're only mandatory on HID equipped vehicles.... I think


You could always find a pair of the headlight sprayers for me, though....

 

Like lots of other makes of vehicles you can order different spec items on a wish list.


And mine does have a headlight switch for raising theaim of the lamp.

 

lol lexus has these on their RX models its funny cuz at work we get guys to come up to the grill to "check a scratch" and then hit the button and the horn LMFAO its hilarious!! plus if u hit the headlight squirters on the hwy it gives a hudge mist to who ever is behind u so if they **** u off its pretty cool lol

 

I'll have to give it a sqirt going through Mcdonalds.
Maybe see if one of those squirters turn outward.

The cost of petrol in New Zealand has reached an all time high of around NZ$ 1.73 / ltr.
My Blazer gives me 18-20 ltr/100km (thats 12mpg in US speak usingof 3.785 ltr per US gallon OR 14.8 mpg in UK).I can only achieve 300- 320km on atank.I use one tank of petrol a week just to get to work & back @ $90 every fillup. Consumption is worse with the boat in tow. I'm too scared to think about that. I'm contemplating the LPG conversion as well but am unsure how effective it will work out to be. The cost here is $4-4500 about the same as yours David if I covert to sterling). There is also a lead time I believe of around 3 months.Trouble is I paid $14,000 for the car + $4,000 for the conversion.There islittle added value for a converted car. Most used cars here are imported from Japan at reasonable cost (around $14-$18000) the market is flooded & resale values are bad.New Zealand has no vehicle manufacturers at all.

David keep me posted & let me know how it works out. I may reconsider.

Hi

I can see some person was (more than a year ago) interested in Blazer conversion for LPG. My Blazer is LPG powered for more than two years now. I think most of the Blazers in Poland are LPG converted because price of gasoline is more than twice of LPG price. If you have good components used for LPG conversion you can feel no difference driving using gasoline or LPG. Only one disadvantage in my opinion is additional fuel (LPG) tank in my car located in place of spare tire (under the floor) and the tank is rather small - 44 litres of LPG. I still try to find good place for my spare tire but I think inner carrier would be the best idea.
My car fuel consumption in the city is 18-19 l/km gasoline or 19-20 l/km LPG. I use Polish system (KME http://www.kme.com.pl/EN_index.html) with software (I think thi is the most important thing) made in Poland but I know you can use for example Dutch system by PRINS but only one good solution is at least sequential gas injection (4-th generation of LPG system).

Since my last post on the subject, fuel price peaked at around $2.20 a litre, but has dropped back to about $1.69. I'm no longer bothered with doing the conversion. I'll just live with these prices & drive less!

 

In Poland gasoline is 1,54USD, LPG is 0,58USD, cost of LPG conversion is 1550USD so you need 8000km to have coversion cost back.
