Question Indicator lights 4x4 switch. 1999 blazer.

Hi, I have a 1999 Blazer S10. 4x4. The four-wheel system works, but the indicator lights on the buttons only work occasionally. What could be the reason for that?
Best regards
Bard

I'm thinking bad solder points on the inside. My 4HI is doing the same thing. I can hear the 4x4 engaging, but the light is iffy... gotta tap it sometimes for it to come on...

Thanks DoneL. Probably that's the problem. Maybe change the indicator switch. Not too expensive :-)

A new 4x4 switch on your dash costs between $35 too $45 bucks, depending on where you live. That is for a 3 button system, if you might have the 4th button, I bet it will be higher...

I replaced my dash switch from Oriliely for 20 bucks, if your system is all working I would try replacing that.
