Default Knock Sensor

Just bought a new knock sensor for my Blazer after I checked the code on my check engine light and it was for a knock. I can't hear a knock so I think it's a bad sensor. Does anyone know where it's located and what steps you take to replace it on a 87 K5?

Should be located in the driver side cylinder head above the exhaust manifold. If it's not there, check the passenger side cylinder head above the exhaust manifold. It'll be on one side or the other.

Thanks, how do you go about removing the old one and installing the new one?

just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one...no special tool required, had mine go bad too but it was sooo simple to change
