Lift a 4x4. Lower a 2x4.

Unless its a bravada which can go either way. I would probably lower it for awd handling.

if you want to do it check out dezertdimes.com or dezerts10.com both are prerunner s10 sights. I was thinking of getting the prerunner fenders for the front and the step side flared fenders off of an s10 and putting them on my blaze.

Well at first I thought I'd like to lower mine but after looking at some pics and sites about lowering Blazers and light trucks I've deside that if I was going too do anything to mine that I'd rather raise it than lower it.
I live in the North East and we get a lot of snow up here so to lower mine would mean not driving it in the winter and I don't care for that idea at all.
Lifting it would be too my advantage up here, I could drive right over a snow bank instaed of sitting in a line of stalled traffic because someone got stuck on the ice or snow.
The only draw back I can see is that my wife would have a hard time getting in and out of it (disabled).
So when I get mine home in a few weeks I'll leave it stock and concentrate on fixing all the little imperfections than I'll deside what I want too do with the suspension.
My first big over haul will be the interior since that is what I specialize in, I've got about 30 years experiance in doing custom van interiors so I'm thinking a Blazer wouldn't be that hard.

IMO airbags are a solution to this dilema, because you can lower or raise your Blazer with the flip of a switch. For me Lowered Blazers look better, might not be as useful as a 4x4 lifted one but it sure looks better. It would be nice to have a Lowered 4x4 Blazer but could you drop it as much as a 2wd???

either way I think the blazer looks sweet,
personal choice would be to lift it.

My personal opinion on trucks is to lift them.

It's more of a personal preference wether you want to lift your truck or lower your truck. It's your truck, do what you like and not what others tell you should do. Btw lifting a truck is not cheap. Unless you do the poor mans lift of just shackles and torision bar bs. But suspension lifts are not cheap and new rims and tires aren't cheap as well. I have so far 5 to 6k in my truck alone. But that amount doesn't include labor since I did everything myself with the help of my friends. Awhile ago I had a complete drop kit for my truck and I only spent about 300.00 for blocks, torsion keys and shocks. But I changed my mind and lifted the truck instead. Sometimes I wish I didn't spend the money I did but I'm happy with the outcome..lol...
