Also, carrying spares on you doesn't hurt... For the $3 or so it costs to get a key cut, I don't see why a lot of people seem to never have a spare on hand, lol

"I'll tell you what's wrong with those. I had one of those under my car, very well secured, and never had the need to use it for a year (This was on my old car, pretty low to the ground). One day I'm driving and go over a railroad track and I hear the little box fly off and hit the road beneath. Too busy of traffic to get out and retreive it without dying, so I drive on. Later thatnight I locked my keys inside, in the pouring rain. It was a fun day!"
I feel your pain, but please consider that the box's placement is important. I've not had one fly off in 20+ years of using them.

i'd say doors have quite some play to them so if you have a wedge stick that between the door and roof then use something long to hit unlock. i always have a spare on me incase i lock myself out. two sets of keys is a good idea
