Hey all. So i am still looking for a mid 90s jimmy. Today i went and looked at 2. 1 a 1996 and the other a 1997. Both have around 170,000 on them. The 96 i was able to hear run, the 97 has been sitting for about 6 months. I noticed that both of these are awd. I need input from the hive. Pros, cons. I would think awd is more wear and tear on stuff. I will be using this for my everyday ride and tow a 15' starcraft once in awhile. So any help. Thanks

 

they are 4x4? or AWD? From what i've read AWD was VERY rare on these guys, not so much on the bravada's. Just curious

 

Well i think i found one. 1996 slt Jimmy 170,000 runs great. Body has a little surface rust at the lower rear of the doors. Daily driven. Just past Massachusetts inspection in July. will be picking it up tomorrow.

Got it home yesterday. Will post pics soon. Found out the guy i bought it from is the second owner. As i check things on this truck it appears to have been well taken care of. The original window sticker was with the owners manual. And of course it has to rain today here in Mass.

 

I have a nice one here I coulda sold ya ....
