i am replacing the engine in my 98 blazer.....took many photos of electrical hookups and the other day let a large handle fall and it crushed my phone. will a chilton or haynes manual show enough info to help make sure things are reconnected correctly? i think most sensors have different shaped hookups so maybe it wont be too bad....just wondering where would be a good place to look.......thank you for any and all info......dg

If you lay the harness over the engine in its normal position, things kind of fall into place. Most connectors will only fit where they're supposed to go, and the wires will generally only reach the right connectors. It may look intimidating, but it's really not that bad when you start doing it.

You're welcome, and good luck. If you get stuck on anything, post a picture and I'm sure somebody will be able to tell you how it goes.
