Ok so here is my situation the kid i got the blazer from called me to day wanting to trade vehicles back because his insurance was going. To go up a 100 dollars because he has had over 10vehicles in a year and state farm is apparently making him carry dealer insurance which i've never heard of and at the time of the trade he did not have the title but he just got it and his grandma is refusing to sign the title because she is sick of him trading vehicles so what can i do i don't want to give the blazer back

 

Did you get a bill of sale?

Without a title or bill of sale, not much you can do really.

 

Here if the title is in her name its hers. Doesn't make a rats *** if he sold it to ya and wrote you a bill of sale. Sorry

 

I have a bill of sale saying i traded my vehicle as is for his and all sales are final

Can i sue him for breach of contract

 

You might but what ya don't understand, if the title was in her name it wasn't his to sell.

 

If the title is in her name talk to her. Explain you want to keep the Blazer and he got a fair vehicle in trade. It's not your fault that the kid traded it. Hopefully she will e reasonable.

Worst case: where I live if she was the registered owner of the vehicle and she did not consent to the trade she can contact the police and declare the vehicle stolen. Which means the Police would have the grounds to charge you with Possesion of Stolen Property in order to get the truck back. Which would leave you out two vehicles and you would have a criminal record if convicted. Your best option is to talk to the registered owner and hope she is reasonable. Let us know how it works out.

Ya something just ain't right tho because i called his insurance to confirm story about having to get dealer insurance and he also tole me he had already removed insurance from the blazer and his insurance tole me that no one in there office had spoken to him since the 7th. We traded on 21st mind you and that it was about some code law and they also told me that he still has insurance on the blazer. So now he has lied to me on a couple different accounts which makes me wonder what is the real reason he wants to trade back and he also told me he has put 400 dollars in my car it makes me question if title. Is in his name or not
