Need rim and tire help!!!
So ive lowered my fair share of blazer and s-10s, but i just bought a 2001 4x4 jimmy. Im buying a 2" body lift and the rough country 2" suspension lift, but i dont know wut kind of rims to get. I wanna run some 31x10.5 inch tires. Should i buy some cheap american racing rims that are 8in wide... should i get 2wd rims so they stick out further, i dunno this is my first soon to be mudder. PLEASE HELP ME CHOOSE SOMETHINGGGG
Thanks Alex... aka TURBO

the x8" rims would be better you shouldn't go much more than 4" wider tire than the rim, but I'd say whatever you think looks good and put them on. If its going to be a mudder I wouldn't get expensive rims they will get messed up from mudding. I wouldn't get anything with less than 4" backspacing thou. and don't spend $400 on a rough country lift, their shocks are terrible and the aftermarket torsion key will really screw with your front suspension parts. crank your stock keys to get a 1.5" lift in the front and buy some shackles from ebay or 4wheelparts.com that's less than $100 for the same lift minus the shocks and control arms. and you can buy nice shocks for cheaper than buying the whole rough country lift
