You just want a locking rear diff. It operates as an open diff until the two axles are spinning at radically different speeds. Then the rear end locks up, and both wheels spin the same rate.

That's what I want to do.

i guess my buddy just told me a limited slip differential will still allow a 2 wheel burnoutl, is that true?

in most cases, yes. if you have a clutch pack posi, sometimes if one tire is on ice for say and the other is on dry pavement, it might not.


I have always done 2 wheel burnouts in my old stang w/ a posi.

i found one.... cheaper than a detroit. and it seems like my blazer is going to have some fun in the mud.
