Default New here. Maintenance questions. thanks for your help

I have a blazer 2002 4wd 110 000KMS

I am planning to tune up the fluids, plugs etc... fuel filter

So I am planning to change motor oil, no problem

Front differential. 75W90 right?
The rear differential. 75W90
The transmission... is it difficult to do? how? gasket and filter?
The transfer case? where is it located? fluid??
Planning to change the sparks plugs too... Is it difficult?
Fuel filter ...where is it?

Thanks a lot

hi welcome

i use 80/90 in my diffs
the plugs are a a pin in the a**, the best way i found to get at them is to remove the wheel and go through the fender
the fuel filter is on the frame, in front of the gas tank, at least it is on mine (97 blazer) follow the fuel line from the gas tank up, on the driver side, should find it pretty easy
and the tranny and tcase im not sure because i never messed around with that =p

Easy, just loosen the bolts from front to back, but you kinda want to stagger the bolts like stair steps to drain the fluid in one direction.
Get the trans filter kit from the parts store, it'll have the filter & gasket.
Filter just pulls off, make sure the O-ring is out of the pick up tube, push new filter on pick up tube, replace pan with new gasket, pour in about 5 quarts of fluid and your done.

The transfer case? where is it located? fluid??
Right behind the tranny. I don't have 4wd but most transfer cases nowadays use ATF.
Should have a drain & fill plug on the side of it.

#3 can be a real pain, but it's doable.
I use a 5/8 spark plug socket with an wrench on the end of it, takes some time but gets the job done. You could also unbolt the steering shaft from the rag joint and move the shaft out of the way, but that's to much work for me haha.

Fuel filter ...where is it?
On the frame rail about mid way back.

Thanks a lot
