Default New Member Question about towing

I have a 1990 Blazer 350 4WD. Curious to know towing capacity. Looking to buy an ultra light travel trailer. Gross Weight on Trailer is 3500lbs. Dry Weight is 2600. 20 foot long. Anybody have any idea how the Blazer would handle pulling it?

Thanks

Is this a full-size Blazer or an S10 Blazer that had a heart transplant? Do you have a class III receiver or plan on using the bumper?

You will get more answers just by providing the info I requested. Hard to answer your question without knowing what you drive.

No problem then. The 350 you have isn't the most powerful, but it will pull the weight no problem, and the suspension is more than up to the task. Just make sure the truck is in overall all good shape and get an aux tranny cooler. I had a 1990 C1500, same drive train as your Blazer and had no problem tow more weight than what you will be towing.

I used to have a lifted '74 Blazer on 36" tires, and I regularly used it to tow at least twice that much. I doubt you'll have any problems.

Awesome Thanks Tom. I'll know Friday when I pick up the trailer.
