It's really amazing the difference a 6 speed trans vs a 4 speed trans makes as I learned with the Mustang. Imagine having ~430HP and getting 28mpg on the highway.

That's awesome to hear about your Denali. I've heard really good things about the newer GM drivetrain, and it's great to hear confirmation of that from someone who's opinion I trust a lot. I'm definitely going to keep the Yukon/Tahoe in mind for when we upgrade the wife's '07 Durango. I really love our Durango but it has a fair bit less interior room than the Yukon/Tahoe. Hauling 3 kids and a dog on long trips can get a bit crowded.

Well, the Yukon has been sold. My sister and brother-in-law were in the market for a larger SUV and I made them a good deal on it. Detailed it all up for them and they picked it up yesterday:

Man I'm going to miss that truck! It had the right combination of everything and looked AMAZING when all cleaned up. Not too shabby for being almost 8 years old and just over 75k on the clock!

Fixed the images. Must be private vs. public in my Google Photos account. Thought it would be nice to link from there, but oh well. I'll mess with it for more.
