No lights on 4x4 switch

Well the truck is gone to Oregon on a fishing trip so it will be a couple of weeks before I can do anymore work with it. At least the 4WD is working. Hopefully I can come up with a bulb in the meantime. Still can't understand why the new switch would not light up though since it appeared the bulb is good in that one.

Well I decided to check to see where the leads from the bulb go to on the new Dorman switch I tried. I found both sides of the bulb go to pin H(gray wire) and no ground pin G(black wire). I'd say that is a problem. I bought this after market switch to help me troubleshoot the issue, waste of time and money. I did get a bit of an education though.
