Default not a blazer question...

94 f250 300 i6 starter
so... can tranny fluid soaking the starter ground cable actually cause a bad ground like the solenoid is going out? btw solenoid is way up on passenger fender. truck shorts on ignition. dome lights and all electrical will not immediately come back. all cables recently replaced big 3-style, brand new alternator. battery okay and starts the truck when something shorty is not acting up.

The transmission fluid probably wouldn't cause that, but it definitely sounds like you're on the right track looking for a bad connection. If somebody else can attempt to start it for you (or you use a remote starter), it should be pretty easy to probe it with a test light to see where the power flow stops. Check the grounds the same way.
