I have a 21 Blazer with the same problem with the parking brake coming on by itself while parked. The only way to release it is to hit the gas. The manual says hit the brake pedal. I understand the brake engaging while parked is fixed by SB 21-Na-252 but wonder if that fixes the need to hit the gas rather than the brake as the manual says.
