Default Question about converting a Blazer....

It has been a while since I have done any extensive work like this on a vehicle so my brain is a bit foggy on it at the moment. So figured I would ask here and maybe get some good advice. I have 2 Blazers. One is a 1985 that had the 2.8 in it and then a 1989 that has the 4.3 in it. Both are 4x4. My question is this,....how difficult will it be to put the 4.3 motor, transmission, differential and transfer case out of the 89 into the 85? I know I will have to pull the computer, wiring harness and fuel pump out and install them into it so it will be able to work but how much of a hassle am I looking at? The frame on the 89 is in rather rough shape due to salt water rust and such.

Why do all that work to not have a v8? Unless you have a garage filled with everything you could ever dream of needing, it sounds like the maximum amount of time, effort, and money to get a vehicle that's considered a dime a dozen.
