probably a 4x4 rear end and springs... since your truck is an extreme i doubt it had a 4 leaf spring pack from the factory. I bet they kept the springs attached to the new rear so they didnt have to break the u-bolts free.
Why dont you call and talk to whoever did the work? id ask for your factory leafs back too

All we got was the rear end, those are original leaf springs, the guy told me that it's is a bigger rear end but not a 4x4, I told him to return it and get me the original rear end, hopefully we will get it done sometime next week. Tires stick out about half inch from fender.

I bet anything its a 4x4 rear end.

I must say the truck runs a hell of a lot smoother,it's sucks because that rear end we found only had 69k miles on it.

Seems like 4wd rear end to me cause this is how my truck is.

The only bigger(as in heavier duty) rear axle that I know of for a Blazer is a ZR2(8.5") axle, but it would be way wider than your stock axle(several inches), and wouldn't be a direct bolt in.
Was there lowering blocks in it before? Forgetting them would leave the rear sitting higher.

There looks like a gap, but it's hard to tell.
