Default roof basket options

I wasnt exactly sure which forum to place this in, so if it not the correct section, please move it.

Im looking for a very durable roof basket to serve the following purposes, and to do them well.

1. must be able to securely fit a spare tire
2. must be able to mount offroading lights to it securely. Running the wires inside the tubing would be a bonus, but not necessary.

This will be for a first gen s10 blazer. Any thoughts?

Check out Surco roof racks... I got mine with the spare tire kit that they make, plus the light mounts (I bought 3 sets, 2 for front, 1 for back). I got mine from www.everythingsuv.com, it wasn't specific for a Blazer but I got the mounting kit to mount it to the stock rails and I measured for the size I wanted. We drilled a hole in the tube of the rack to run the light wires through... no issue, just used black silicone to close up the hole, works great.

Search the forum for my review on my one from ebay. Paid like $120 shipped to my door. Fits great had a spare mounted up there too. You should be able to rig something to mount lights. I will eventually.

I did see that thread. Any problems with the roof flexing or making the stock roof racks wobbly or loose?

Nope I have actually done a few pull ups off of it just to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. heh. No problems as of yet. The roof racks are rated for 200lbs.
