I know, but some vehicles are built tough enough where the seat belt will save you and you do not have to worry about the airbag, because the front end will not cave in on you.

Anyways, I want to go on spring break trip to Florida, from Virginia. You would feel confident taking a blazer filled with 5 people and gear and not worry about the integrity of it?

Sure. I've had a loaded Blazer with gear before.
