I must have the light truck reflex's then. I like them. I offroad occasionally so I didn't want something to ride as stiff as a dump truck. I'm not seeing the soft and mushy you speak of, but they are a good overall shock. I see the "Monotube" version as a shock for a hardcore offroader. They seem very stiff and unforgiving. But you have to sacrifice comfort for control if you want great offroad shocks.

soft and mushy is what I want, I want a smooth ride, minneapolis streets are horrible! I want a smooth ride LOL

Well, go with the reflex lt then. It rides very smooth on road. LOL

I put the KYB Monomax's on mine and WOW what a difference in the way it handles.
