should I sell my 2000 Blazer for a 2004 Blazer?
I am debating whether to sell my 2000 blazer with 94,000 miles on it and get a 2004 blazer with low miles. I would probably get like 4,000 to 5,000 for my 2000 blazer if i was to sell it. But, i have seen the prices of 2004 blazers and they are like over $10,000. Do you think its worth it to sell and get a newer and one with lower miles?? I have put alot of work into my 2000 and many new parts, etc. But, high miles is what I am worried about. I do all the maintainance that is required and is well kept up on all that. How many miles could be possible on a blazer if kept in good shape and all that?? I have seen blazers with over 150,000 miles and i feel my car can go the distance, but a few new parts along the way might be in store for my blazer. Just want an opinion of what you think...sell to get a newer blazer with lower miles or keep the one i have. thanks.

Blazers if treated right will last a very long time! Couple people i know had thiers till 450,000+ miles...pretty much the engine outlasted the body!
If you like what you have now, and its reliable I personally would keep it. If it breaks down alot, then try another version of it.
Heck you could sell your prime 2000, for a lemon 2004 that although has low miles, could nickel and dime you to death.
Its really up to you, if you put alot of work into your current one, and you have future plans for it...and it is reliable, doesnt break down, someting randomly doesnt break every other week, then I would just stay where your at and keep what you have, and moddify the current one.
just my .02 cents

I would keep it. 94k miles is not a lot. I have 140k miles on it and it still works great (1998 model 4x4). Thats what I am planning on doing is keeping it atleast another 2 years while i get thru college. Then I will probably get a sporty car and keep the blazer as a winter vehicle, trail truck, or hauler.

Yeah, It has got me this far. Wish chevy would bring back the blazer body style. Fits in the garage so good. Yeah, my blazer has a little bump in the trunk, so gotta keep that. I gotalot of moneyin my system. I got the money from my grandfather after he passed away, he always loved the blazer and chevy trucks. His chevy cheyenne went through 6 motors, chevy 350's. So i think he would want me to keep this blazer, I mean i spent all his money he gave to me on my blazer, hate to see it go down the drain.
