Yes the rear bumper was changed in 1998, actually all of the exterior changes were done in 1998 with the exception of the mirrors which followed the next year.
and then the grill, wheels and fog lights in 2001-02?

The grill was done in '98, when they switched to the new, spiffy headlights.

I mean they switched between the horizontal style to the newer criscross grille and the fog lights next to the turn signals/parking lights.
