Default Steering Wheel and Shift **** suggestions

Can anyone point me to a brand or site or anything that has more vintage-y looking (possibly wooden) steering wheels and (floor console) shift ***** (like a ball hurst type thing) that I could use on a 2005 ZR2?

thx in advance

Search for Nardi steering wheels. They are the nicest wooden wheels imo I have one that's going in my blazer eventually. Just need to get the hub adapter too.

Edit: keep in mind you will loose your airbag by doing this. "Officially": I do not recommend removing any safety devices from your vehicle...."unofficially": they sure do look nice and i disabled my airbags years ago anyway lol

No problem. Grant makes decent steering wheels too, and if I remember they're a lil less pricey.

Also, edited my original post while you posted that, so keep that in mind too

I found a site www.carid.com

They have custom wood dash, interior panel and matching steering wheel kits. The pics make it hard to tell the quality.

Have you looked at a 'salvage yard' Tahoe/ GMC Yukon wheel? This way you could get a close match to color and also retain the air bag feature! I would also like the leather wrapped wheels a lot. Mine has the stock Blazer raw foam look that cries out for a cover at the least!
