Stroke of luck...
I had a friend come into the shop with his jeep and a brand new set of BF 31x10.5/15's that he wanted put on to replace his worn set of 31x10.5/15's. No big deal... When I asked him what he wanted to do with his old tires he said "If you can fit em' on your Blazer then you can have them". Well this started quite the conversation in the shop about whether or not they would rub... So after we finished the Jeep, I slapped the worn 31's on my Blazer (stock ride height) and much to my amazement and more so to they guy who bet me 50 bucks that they would rub, they didn't even touch at full turn radius... Now I must admit that the tires were worn but not worn out... So I got a set of 31's and 50 bucks and I didn't have to trim my wheel wells...

Good deal! It really varies from truck to truck as to whether 31's rub. Tire manufacturer variance plays a lot in there too. I've had 3 different brand 31's on my truck and every one of them was different, by almost a full inch between the shortest and tallest of the 3.

I'm sure that if the tires were new, that they would have rubbed... So to all that are considering putting 31's on their rides... Please do not assume that my experience is the norm... I just took a chance on some tires that were free and probably gonna get thrown away... and just got lucky...
