Stupid teens....

I really can't say much about being a teen driver...I didn't get my license until I was 22. I will say, however, that if I did drive when I was a teenager, I would definately have obeyed all traffic laws...being that the mere thought of breaking the law has always bothered the hell out of me. I'm guessing this wild child in the Jetta wasn't of the same moral fiber that I am, though....LOL.
Most of the "teens" around where I live, have rich parents, so they either didn't pay for their cars, or on the off chance they did, mommy and daddy bails them out whenever they have trouble, lol.
As far as the whole generalization thing... It's not that I have something against ALL teenage female drivers...
It's just that if one runs a red light and hits me, unless I have witness, the police, and insurance companies will instantly ignore anything I say that has to do with the accident, and listen only to what she has to say.

it's not the fact that she's a bad teenage driver, it's called shock. She probably had no idea how fast she was going and usually most people that are speeding don't really know how fast they are going so they say they were doing the speed limit. This is what most people do, not just teenagers.
Unfortunately for the young lady driving the Jetta, it really doesn't matter how fast she says she was driving. There just happens to be a little "black box" installed on the vehicle that recorded the last 5-7 seconds of all the functions going on with the car just prior to the accident. Insurance investigators will access that info and there is no way to refute it.
And, yes, I was a bad teen driver...lol. I can admit that now, 20+ years later.
