Default trans swap... possible?

Hello, i always wanted a 5 speed instead of the 4l60E. i came across a 2 door 95 with a 5 speed before but it was 2 whll drive. i was talking to my cousin who had a lil later model extreme which had a 4.3 5 speed but he didnt know the trans brand. so my question is: Would a swap like that be possible? would it require a yoke swap to fit the transfer case and is there a company or brand that deals in it? and and all input will help greatly..

btw: my truck is a 96 Ls 4 door, 4x4

thanks.

Well, you would need a clutch and clutch cyl installed... The 5spd trans is going to be half the legnth of the auto too, so I imagine once the Tcase is hanging off the back of it, you will need 2 new driveshafts in the proper legnths...

Seems like alot of work to me...
