I have a 95 Blazer and the tranny went out the other day, I did buy it used back in Oct 09. I really liked it and am not sure if I want to fix it, because of limited funds I can only put a used tranny back in it. I was told that the 95s were known to have bad trannys after I bought it though. So now I found a 97 Blazer for just a couple of hundred more $, than it would to fix the 95, it suposed to have a rebuilt trans in it but the current owner doesnt know the miles when it was done. So, what should I pay special attention to when looking at the 97? It does have over 200,000 miles, but was told its a good runner, well thats what thay all say. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
