I went to HFT and they had the Pittsburg jack stand pads---a pair for $8.99-- for sale. I decided to try a pair and see if they would fit my newly purchased Daytona jack stands. These were a little tight in the width , not the length. I warmed them up to expand them to make them fit better. They snapped on and fit good. These are rubber cushions to prevent scratches and to prevent slipping. IOW the Pittsburg pads do fit the Daytona 3 ton jack stands.

If I were in the market for a new floor jack and I had the budget for it, I would seriously consider a Pro Eagle jack.
It has plenty of capacity, plenty of lift height, and it won't high center on a zip tie. Kind of a jack of all trades (my apologies for the horrible pun).

Good to know. Thanks for the info.
Tell me about it! If I could justify the expense, I'd have one for sure. There are similar, less expensive jacks, but they're still pretty expensive. And, if you're gonna do it...
