what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
Today i had a shop do my lower balljoints.
QUESTION?
i drove it home and steering feels stiff. Is this normal? Its been 7 years the last time this was done and i was a teen and prolly didnt notice it. Is there a breakin period? Im wondering if my camber is off now.

It looks like we are fighting a losing battle ! At my local part houses I request anything other than Chinese if possible. I never thought that Hecho Y Mexico would instill some amount of confidence !? Why aren't the Canadians filling our parts supply gap? Because they are under the same destructive social policies that we are ! Made in America is becoming a fable and in one more generation it will be a Myth. This Global citizen crap has it's downfalls doesn't it !
I replaced the left rear license plate light on my wife's 2000 Blazer today. That was a surprisingly tricky operation having never done it before. Now that I've figured out how to lift up the housing to release the clip it's not so bad.
I also found a Husky cargo liner for the back of her Blazer on Craigslist in Tacoma for only $40. I snagged that one and put it in the back of her truck. It fits perfectly and looks nice.

I got HP Motor mounts from JTR for my 4x4x4dr. I had to modify/reem the bolt holes in order to line up the holes for the passenger side (2.8 mount ) and the drivers side I could only install two of three bolts because of the different bolt pattern. In addition the new mounts raise the engine about an inch over stock. It took me much longer than I had anticipated due to "surprises" and difficult to access bolts and nuts !
Got new tires put on a couple of days ago...
Been noticing a squealing from rear brakes. Remembered that I replaced them with organic not ceramic pads. While removing passenger rear tire, snapped a stud. ******* at tire shop used impact gun to install...smh....

Tried to figure out the front blinker issue, looks like I will have to pull the light apart. Sucks.
And cleaned the IAC to fix a fluctuating idle sometimes.
*edit*
I figured out the front turn signal problem. The switchback board that I was using (switches from the white LED's to the amber and then back once the turn signal is shut off) had a bad voltage regulator. It being surface mounted and me not having the correct soldering supplies to deal with that. I decided to just cut the switchback out of the equation. Since there are only 15 white LED's and 60 amber LED's the amber LED's have no problem over powering the white LED's when the parking lights are on and you flip on the turn signal.
I just need to wait for some caps/diodes and voltage regulators to come in the mail. Until then I have an OEM amber with an incandescent bulb, and man.. is that ugly and dull as can be!

I put in some more work today on my wife's 2000 Blazer. I finally got around to replacing the hinge pins and bushings on the front doors. Since the door panels were off I put a pair of new Pioneer speakers in the doors which I had ordered from Crutchfield. I took a few pics...

Well, we (my brother-in-law) replaced the water pump today, a 4 hour job that actually went fairly smooth. also replaced the lower (front) windshield washer pump, replaced all the dry rotted vacuum hoses associated with the 4 wd, ( lit up on the dash, will test tomorrow)
just joined the forum. the blazer was (is) my wife's truck. my 2007 silverado is going away by oct 10, so the blazer will be our primary vehicle once more.
will post some pics soon.
Thanks for having me!
