The brakes are easy as pie. I am not sure about the CV boot.

CV axles are so cheap these days it's not even worth the time and effort to dismantle and swap a boot. Grab a new axle, bolt it in, done - if you know what your doing it'll take a half hour.

Fixed the ABS/brake light that the shop said would cost $1,200. My cost: $50, thanks to this forum.

I drove it around the parking lot a few times! First time it's ran in months it runs like crap with random misfire everywhere lol. I suspect it's something under the cap or the cap itself so I ordered a complete new billet distributor with cap and rotor plus new a.c.delco plugs and wires. I leave for 10 days at our condo in Florida at 3am tomorrow so everything will be waiting and ready to go in when I get back!

Mine ran the same ... until I stripped the electronics off for a carb & HEI ignition.

Mines running. sorta... Has a bad connection somewhere on the cpi pigtail. One day runs good, next day bucks, studders or stalls. if I get out and tug on the wires coming out of the intake itll run fine. I don't wanna fix it.lol ive been in that intake 4 times in 3 months.

Took off the drivers door, squared up the hinges, put in new pins and bushings, had to use one .010 size larger in the upper hinge, and a .020 size larger in the lower hinge, the other 2 were the normal size. Door was tight as can be but still a bit out of line so I put a jack under the door and lined it up.. now it closes like butter.
