How are you trying to push them in?

Took the cap off of the reservoir, used over size ajustable plier wrench( can' think of the actual name) used a bar and put all my weight downwards on the piston. Only thing I haven' done is disconnect the line.

monkey wrench maybe? Not the plumbers wrench

I pulled these off an 01 Vette in the junk yard today. I'm pretty much obligated to put them on the Blazer somewhere somehow... I mean look at that manufacturer name...

Also got something else MUCH more major out of the same Vette. More details on that to come later though

Man, I guess all salvage yards are not created equal...
I've seen some cool cars but never a Vette. Maybe a Chevette.
Did you snag the LS1 motor!?

Well it helps when you work at said salvage yard lol and we don't really get many Vettes

But as far as the engine, this 01 didn't even have the original 5.7 LS1...

It had something even better

Pulled the pan off the transmission in my 97. Didn't realize it was necessary to remove the cross member until I had the pan loose and was unable to drop it. Good times. Parts replacement and reassembly up next, but will probably have to wait until this Friday since the 3-2 downshift solenoid didn't show up until 5.
Fluid looks dark. Haven't dumped the pan yet. Will update next weekend.

I got my rear end broken down by removing the axles, seals, bearings, and dust shields. Axles are out and are fine .
The old seal leaked pretty good and made a mess of the parking brake.
I will finish cleaning parts and do the reassembly maybe tomorrow.

Clearing out a spot to put my '67 Camaro back in before the rain and possible Ice and snow tomorrow.
