what have you gotten done on your blazer today?
Did an extremely hard thing by letting my son change the passenger side wheel hub. I had to let him struggle as he knew more than I. He struggled with changing tools or coming at it from the other side. Checked the torque of the caliper brackets and wheel hubs and found 4 of the 5 were loose. He was concerned about the sway bar links so I replaced them.
I made a skid plate for my gas tank. I got a pretty good deal on a piece of 1/4" aluminum, so I used that. It came with a couple of "extra" holes that I'll probably weld up, but it works for now.
Is this for a 2nd gen 4dr? Could post the pattern for it?
i would have to make one. I just fitted it as I went. I also had to make brackets for the inside (driveshaft side) out of steel that you can't see in the pictures.

Thanks. I probably won't "use" it very often (my gas tank is pretty high off the ground) or I probably would have used 3/16 steel, too. But my rig is already a little on the heavy side and I only paid $75 for a 4-foot square of the aluminum, so I went with that. Plus there's just something cool about aluminum...
Replaced the 26 month old Walmart battery. Actually, just put the 13 month old Walmart battery from my S-10 in it and bought a better battery from Advance. I opted for the Gold Series with 700 CCA. Much better.
