Went and picked up my moms jimmy, moved the blazer over to have room for the tent trailer. Had to use the jimmy to pull it out of the spot, then man handled it back into where it is now, was going to do a fuel pressure test today, but been pissing since I got up, will see if it lightens up.

Helped my son with his ZR2 by changing the oil and filter, checked and replaced gauge cluster lights as needed, and put the passenger door panel on better. The previous owner used a wood screw to hold down the back edge but lost the two fasteners at the center. very odd as he was an audiophile and was trying to eliminate noise.

Haven't cracked the wiring to make the speakers receive the output of the new head but we'll keep trying.

Did finish the Magnaflow exhaust install on the Suburban. Nice throaty tone but the new cats probably helped more than anything.

Actually on the topic of the Passlock system, will replacing the switch require a passlock relearn on a '99 production Truck? without the chipped key and all that.

Edit: the answer is "no"

Downgraded my audio system. Went from two 12"s in a ported box to a single 12" in a sealed box. Just wanted some more cargo room in the back, and I find myself turning the amp gain down most of the time anyhow.

I know, I'm getting old...

Did the plug and wires today, and a new battery yesterday. Going to call about the alternator tomorrow.

Well found on the wife's Saphire that someone had already removed the quick connect on the heater core line. (Glad) But the outlet on the thermostat is corroded and leaking. Gonna replace that next month when I do my (on my soapbox) dex-crap-to-green change. I think the heater core is partially clogged. Get warm air but not hot. But truck not overheating. Just hope the radiator isn't bad. Also still need to replace the driver mirror and permanently fix the hinges. After that swap my a/c compressor (have a spare) and some cosmetics (replace/fix valance, passenger front blinker) Nothing real major. Oh still the driver ball joint also.

My Big Blue also still needs a new windshield but gonna have to hold off on that until social distancing clears up. Have some flex tape on the top to keep it from leaking for now.

Very nice.

I installed a new hood release cable as the one on my truck has been broken for 10 years or more.
