what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

Might as well make my debut here...
Last evening I finally fixed that blasted digital dash. Wasn't bad really, just had to redo a few solder joints. Looks nice for a '93!
Next up: blower motor. Hopefully I won't have to tear half the dash and/or engine out to get at it...

And tonight I put new brake pads on the back, and replaced my upper ball joints.

It'll come out like *** again. These headlights do not take VHT spray likely.

After doing the gas tank on Saturday, i replaced the horribly leaking PS cooler with a transmission intercooler i scored from the local yard for a whole $10... once i get some other issues dealt with and extra $$$ i believe replacing the rad supports is indefinitely a requirement... the majority of the bracing from top to bottom in front of the rad has well rusted right out.
Wednesday night i took it for a safety inspection - FAILED
Issues: Lower Ball joints are pooched, E-Brake cable on the left rear won't release (cable's bent up a bit), No Spare tire (gonna search if its poss to put the swing arm door style on the jimmy instead of the under carriage one as the cable's snapped and the crank end is just flaked rust in many a layers), Reverse lights don't work <<< this could be a pain in the **** to deal with in the end as the plug won't just pop out like it should, so the plan there is to take a buatane torch to heat it enough to it up and out.
The ball joint's have been replaced before on it so this job isn't AS difficult now fortunately - I also spent the extra bit of $$$ on a set of MOOG's with the grease nipple on it and they'll be packed full with Shell Alvania RL 2 lithium grease once said n done. Here's hoping its not a rough day after I take it in for the Emissions Test first.

I installed a new set of turn signal lenses on the 'Ho last night along with amber DRL bulbs to mix things up a bit. I didn't take any pictures though. Here are the lenses I installed:

They do not have the orange reflector in them. Now I need to get a set of Silverstar 3157A bulbs to take away the orange reflection from the bulbs when they are not illuminated.

Those are nice lenses Kyle. Ebay? I really don't trust them after a few horror stories from melting and breaking after a week.
I'll be waiting for a installed pic of those for sure!

I bought them off Amazon. $30 delivered so if they do break, I'm not out much. I liked the looks of these MUCH better than all the rest of them particularly because they mimicked the stock lenses in terms of the outer lens optics for the turn signal and corner marker light, just without the orange lens.
They are made by APC and were one of the ones that had the best reviews on some of the Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban sites.

Kyle, look into Type 2 Switchback LED's for your corners... at night they run bright white but when you put your indicator or they'll turn off and flash orange.

Yea APC is usually pretty decent considering the price. They will be good with the silverstars in them. Though about LED turnbacks in the DRL?
EDIT: Pat beat me to it lol Turnback/switchback same thing lol
