Painted the Chrome trim around the headlights black. So now they match the grill.

Two words; "woble extension". For those hard to get at Spark Plugs.

the wobble extention really didnt work for me, i just slid the spark plug socket on, then used a wrench over the end of the socket, and loosened it bit by bit. the good news is todays spark plugs last a lot longer than they did 30 years ago. its quite possible in some cases to just change them once over the average ownership of a vehicle. unless your like me and drive it until it needs to be donated to the salvage yard.

I put in a nice new Fram Platinum air filter. Old one was just packed with dust. Seem to have a little better throttle response now!

Not sure if they are all like this, but it works on my 2002...

There is a protective sleeve on that part of the steering shaft which covers a joint. I'm sure you've noticed that the shaft is fatter at that point.

Slide the sleeve down the shaft and out of the way. Then look for a flat spot in the joint. Turn the steering wheel to line up the flat spot with the spark plug. Go through the wheel well and the socket and extension will go right past the shaft and onto the plug.

peace
