Ok, so I went out and worked on the blaze. I got the egr valve off no problem, cleaned it out and put a new gasket on and installed it back. I took off the IAC Valve and noticed OIL or some COOLANT in the valve and also in the sensor where the harness connects to it. I cleaned the sensor and valve out with electrical cleaner and was hoping that everything would work since the CEL said my IAC was malfunctioning. So I put everything back on and the blazer goes more wack than what it was doing. I cranked it and it goes up to about 1500 rpm then chugs down to about 500-600 rpm for a couple seconds then goes skyrocketing to 2000 rpm and then goes a little higher to about 2300 rpm and it plants itself there. It doesn't move at 2300 rpm, it idles there. WHAT THE F man. Anybody have any suggestions? Sorry I'm a little pissed right now. It's my dd.

I'm going to try one more thing before buying parts. I've cleaned 2 out of the 3. The EGR, IAC. I'll try the TPS and hopefully it's that. If it is, whether I clean it tonight or tomorrow, I'll get on here and jump for joy LOL!

went to carwash power washed under hood so i can paint wen i pull the old motor tryingto find smone who will lend me a hoist so i dont have to rent 1 my new motor is sitting at autozone goin in tommorow along with paint under hood n on the block. only put about 2miles on it today n gta go to work and back and im the taxi at night i gta drive ev1 i work with home

Well i'll add that i tried to pull the cat to get the chunks out. Snapped 2 of the 3 studs for the muffler and couldn't get any of the cat-y pipe bolts out. so now i'm running with no muffler and i'm going to have to have a shop do it. I just don't feel like dealing with it anymore.
