Just heard back from the mechanic, and my fuel smell is coming from a leaking fuel line, but they didn't say where. No charge to me today for looking at it, however to replace it, they're looking ag 170 plus parts.

Anybody know if there are pre-bent fuel lines available anywhere?

I am the same way when it comes to internals of the engine and transmission. Everything else is easy and not so strict on tolerances. LOL

Thought of messing up a rod bearing then having to redo it all for ONE bearing....I'll end up smashing the hell out of the rod when i get it back out.

I would not pay for that. All of a sudden a leaking line after they installed the fuel pump means THEY DID IT. Get BBB on the phone if nothing can be worked out. Minimum I'd do is 50/50 since you did not have the problem before they touched it.

It's also been nearly a month since they replaced the pump, so I can't really say it's their fault.
