what have you gotten done on your blazer today?

I think there's a pic a page or two back... Unfortunately the tires on them are Firestone 205/65/15s and I have 235/70/15s... It just wouldn't look right running the smaller tires. And the 'Stones are in pretty good shape minus one due to a bad tie rod on the previous owner. But heres a couple due to popular demand!
This one is just one I took to make sure the rims fit pattern wise. It would be sweet if I was lifted like this all the time.

Only the bottom left two are uncleaned. Hard to see the difference but I have a bad camera on my phone. INSANE difference to the naked eye. They're a little scuffed around the bead though.

At the end of the day, I still need new tires before I can get the 'Maro rims on. Waiting for my GF to pay off her new tires first so I can get some.
Do you plan on chain locking those? I noticed there was a couple of bolts holding that puppy on. Any theif with a couple of pairs of pliers wouldn't have a hard time getting the goods out of that riggin.

Went to menards, and some guy walking through the parking lot was like "what year and how many miles is the Jimmy" so I said "194k" and he said "damn, that thing is in REALLY good shape, Especially being in MN.. damn"

Newguy: love the jack! That's badass!
I put in some more time on the wife's '00 Blazer today. I replaced the idler arm. It was the original factory arm with over 214,000 miles on it. The arm was really sloppy. I also discovered that the left inner tie rod end is going bad. The boot is ripped and it's almost completely out of grease. I'll do some steering work on it over Spring Break.
I also replaced the right front hub. The ABS light had been on for a couple weeks. I tested out the sensor and found the signal dropping out occasionally. I got a new Timken hub from AutoZone for $120 with courtesy discount (Bret at my local AutoZone really likes me; I buy a lot of stuff there). As I was installing the hub my wrench slipped and I broke the ABS sensor right off the new hub. Grrr. I went back to AutoZone and they did a warranty return and gave me a new hub. I installed that hub without incident.
I took the truck for a test drive afterward and the steering was much more precise and the ABS light did not come on. I'm declaring "Mission Accomplished."
