My lil Booboo was treated to a new heater core...
3 new O2 sensors....4 new head light bulbs....
And a tranny filter with new tranny fluid.....
Thats right.....new tranny fluid...nothing to good
For my girl...oh also some fresh anti freeze and topped
Her off with some windshield washer fluid.....
Damn....this gets treated better than the wife and kids

Woke up Saturday morning to -5.5° here. Not quite -11°, but at that stage can you really tell the difference? It's damn cold!
I went out at 6am to fire up the carbureted Blazer for the wifey. It's times like this that I just love a manual choke over an electric. Turned key, wait for pump to slow down (reciprocating pump), pump twice, pull choke all the way, VROOM! Actually started faster than my '07 Silverado.
But, we cheat ... there's a block heater on this one, mainly because I run Amsoil Z-Rod in 10w-30. A little too heavy for that type of cold. Also warms up alot quicker than it normally would, so she's happy.
Yep - forecast for tomorrow is 54°. Gotta love New England!

yesterday i did my 1st gen to 2nd gen brake swap. i was going to make a how to thread but its too simple.take old spindle chunk off,put new spindle chunk on. attach hoses, bend hose brackets down a little, bleed, done.
improvements? meh. a little. honestly the single piston calipers felt like they had a better grip. but the duals have a smoother more consistent grip if that makes sense. at least now no more packing bearings. as for the $150 hubs, im fine. going back to get a new set on a junked jimmy for 60 bucks. ones i have now had been replaced too so,im happy.
