Thanks for the link, interesting forums, like most forums allot of bickering and in-fighting. But some good info aswell. Anyway Ive been driving for 14 years and have used Mobil oils the whole time and been happy with it. Don't fix whats not broken IMO. Just dumped Mobil 1 in the Blazer today infact....

I'm debating on what to use as well. I'm on a VERY limited budget. I have been taking it to Mobil Lube Express, but from now on I'll be doing the changes my self (no biggie as I've done it before on my old Taurus). When I had the taurus, I used castrol GTX, but I never researched the brand. Is Castrol still the way to go? My local autoparts store is having a sale with puralator filter and highmileage castrol GTX synth-blend oil for less than $20.
