What would you pay for this? 89 Blazer
Chevy Blazer S-10 4X4 great cond.
I just sold my 2000 Blazer in hopes of getting something with better gas mileage. However, I have found this Blazer locally and am really considering picking it up if it's in as good of shape as the pictures show. If I do pick this up I would still have made close to 2k off my other blazer and would have that extra money in savings.
I have considered picking up a Civic, Accord, Camry, etc. but everything around here is junk or people are asking way too much for them. I am also looking at some S10's or Rangers in the 4 cylinder 5 speed variety to alleviate some of the MPG hit I was taking on my 2000 Blazer with 31" tires on it.
With all that being said, I would LOVE to have another 4wd vehicle for the winter. Also, like mentioned before, I would still be able to pocket quite a bit of cash and use the money to pay things off. It wasn't that I could not afford to pay the gas in my other blazer, I could easily afford it, however it had a few issues as well that needed to be addressed. Parts of me wishes I would have kept it around for the winter, while other parts of me is glad I did sell it.
So...any thoughts on a fair price for that 89? Any advice from others who have possibly swayed to a better MPG vehicle or thought it about? Anyone who made the switch back to a Blazer or other 4wd drive truck/suv from a small car? Might mention that we do have a 2008 Camry as well with 50k on it that we drive most of the time anyway.
Fire away guys!

Both me & my sister bought 89's brand new-full size and both white! Mine in NH rusted in 2 years! Had to retire the unit after only 36 months! And that Blazer cost me almost $20K! Hers in SC is still going strong after all this time rust free 23 years later! 350M motor no less! depends upon rear floor rust! As these are essentially K10's Very sound units-great drivelines! 350M-TH700R4-3.08 rear axle,30 gallon tank-NPS 238 transfer case! Good fuel economy as well! Look at the rear floors, especilly in front of the back seats!

i have an 88, i drove it for 3 years with the 4.3L on the freeway and it got **** for gas milage. but the 2.5L r junk motors too, but good gas milage. i would recommend getting an s10....they r great rigs if kept up. i dont drive mine on the road anymore, i bought a toyota pickup for my gas milage...lol. but i love my s10. and as far as what i would pay just depends on the condition. fair i wouldnt pay more than $2k. even in great condition i wouldnt pay more than $2,500.
