I had a 91 4X4 2dr Blazer and I now have an 04 4X2 4dr. I prefered the interior of the 91 quite a bit more. I especially liked the manul 4X4 shifter. Had major problems with the anti lock brakes on it though. And I hated the seats. Most uncomfortable things I've ever experienced.

I like the looks of the 04 much better, but I miss the interior of the 91. Motor feels much stronger on the 04 much better too.

Are you saying that because of the switch to MPFI ("Spyder") that took place around 2002-2003?

Also, the problem with 2003-2005 is that in a 4-door you could only get a column-mounted gear selector, right? Seems to me the only way to get a 4-door Blazer with a "floor" (that is, console-mounter) shifter was to order the TrailBlazer trim level package in 1999-2001, correct? (All the 4-door Jimmys came with console-mounted gear selectors, but of course production of those stopped with the 2001 model year.)

(Please correct me if I am wrong; I'm currently looking for a vehicle, and that's been my observation thus far...)
