At my old job we had a 97 towncar with 610,000 on the original engine. Think it was on its 5th trans. S10 wise I only got 203,000.

it should have to be a blazer! lol

202000 on my dads 96 org. engine and trans. no rebuilds never had any thing off from 30k-190k, we cleaned the egr and had the trans flushed.

my Dad's '87 L8000 had 997,614 kms on it in '97 when thay sold it. that's right, just shy of a million K.
original engine, never had anything internal done to it-not even the injection pump. was powered by a CAT, not sure which one.

Well I've had my tranny rebuilt 3 times but the engine is still all factory. Blue smoking and all, lol.
