X 10 to all above,except I have owned 3 fords(thats all my mom drove) in a strictly GM mindset family,one of my current favorite cars is my 94 Lincoln town car! Got it free w/ only 58k and now has 78k! Every Ford I have ever owned has been darn good! But I am talking the full size sedans and wagons...

 

stay away from the 3 valve motors. changing the plugs are impossible. they literally break off in the block. they even sell a tool to remove them when it happens

 

As mentioned above, plug issues, body panel issues, and transmission issues. The tire issues with the 94 - 03 models have been resolved, at much expense to Ford and Firestone. They're great in terms of space, but that's about it.

 

I had gotten one for the ex... Transmission went out in no time.

Dont buy her it. Get her ANYTHING else.

 

Worked in a Ford dealership for many years, made a good living.... but would never own one.
