I was just in a parking lot one day hopping back into my truck,started it and it is in 4 low and will not switch and the service 4wd light is on. . I hooked it up to a otc genisys scanner and cannot get any trouble codes out of her, Only datstream. So I started of with the cheapest item a new selector switch (with auto) , No go , so I thought maybe a transfer case control module,still no go, so I read a bulletin on encoder motor, tried a new one , still no go. The only way it will go into 2wd is if you pull the 4wd fuse and bingo it switches into 2wd, put the fuse back in and what do ya know 4wd low. Anyone else had any problems like this???

Hmmm.. changed the tccm and it was no good? I went through 2 of them from a salvage yard. Neither worked, so I returned them. I ended up purchasing one from the dealer.

Are you sure the other TCCM was for a 4 button selector switch? Dunno what to tell ya.
