Just for diagnostics since you have a Hypertech programer reinstall the factory settings and see if that helps.....if not then drain the tank.

Its a plugged exhuast. Swart and Chevy Lover nailed it great thanks. WHat I did was take the 02 sen. out and drove it like that and ran fine. So its either the cat or the muffler. I replaced the muffler with Gibson last year so I am going to check the cat first! Thanks for everything I would have never imagined a plugged exhuast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a relief![sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=groupwave.gif]

Does anybody think that the Gibson Exhuast was the culprit of the cat going bad? Well anyways it runs better than I first got it. Cost me 60 buck for the install and 160 for the Catco direct fit Cat. I would have done it my self but After installing the gibson I noticed the Cat bolts where in bad shape.

hmm idk if it was the stock cat it might just have been its time to go.....my cat went b4 i put in my exhaust..i bought a walker aftermarket cat for 175 installed.....but when mine went you knew it.....the thing rattled like nuts....really a disgusting sound to hear....and power loss ensued as well.....did u know that my tranny slipped in and out of gear all because of the freeking cat?

Sometimes it did that too, not want to shift but knew it was not the tranny. It did not want to shift becuase it could not reach proper speed eventhough it reached the right rpms and more. The funny thing is that the cat did not make any noise. If you are going to put a Gibson Exhuast might as well upgrade your Cat since your down there. I know next time I am!

Thanks for keeping us posted. Let us know if it is a plugged cat.
The cat would be my guess, but only a guess.
