Default Blazer starters

Good Day

I just bought a 96 s10 blazer 4x4. They installed a used engine 30000kms ago from a chev astro. (4.3) The original engine was a 4.3 as well. I was wondering can I use the vehicle vin to order a new starter or is it possible the astro 4.3 engine takes a different starter? thanks in advanced

You might want to look on like Autozone.com and see if the part numbers of the starters on the motors from a blazer and a astro van are the same. I'm pretty sure they are both the same though.

Another vote for them being the same, but it never hurts to check.
