Ok so I was messing around in my blazer yesterday and when I hit second gear at 4600-4700 my cd player came disconected from the speakers(sub still hit but nothing else). Pulled over and fixed that, but by then I was kinda mad so when I took off and hit 2nd again(about the same rmp) my emergency brake light came on and now I cant get it off. I tried to pull up on the ebrake while pulling the handle but still no luck. Please help its annoying.

Just the "E" brake light? No flashes from the ABS light?
No flashing lights from the cop car behind you...lol....sorry, couldn't resist that one.
The reason I ask is that if you were spinning the tires, you might have set an ABS code due to the wheel speed sensors. As far as I can tell the only reason the "E" brake light comes on is when the pedal is not fully in contact with the switch or the switch is faulty.

No flashing lights at all, I know to look for cops since I have had 14 tickets in 5 yrs(it gets kinda pricey for all of those tickets). lol
I just got a yr court supervision and had to pay $200 for a 50 in a 30 ticket.
