OK, I have heard it talked about briefly before, but what is that weird gurgling noise from the passenger side of the car? I have only heard it maybe a handful of times from my car but I figured I should look into it. Any ideas?

That happened to me. My coolant level was low, due to a leaking water pump.

The gurgling can also be caused by blockages in the heater core, I have back-flushed mine and still have it.

Seriously thou, are you sure you bled out all the air from the cooling system?

yeah, I changed the radiator recently because it had developed a small leak where the end cap met the core, and got all the air out of the system, new 16lb stant cap too. I ran it with the heater core fully open until the thermostat opened up, then shut it off and let it cool down. Repeated that process several times, also on ramps. I changed from Dexcool to the green stuff a while back, and thought I got all the old coolant out with a flush, but I think the heater core is partially blocked by hardened Dexcool. The problem developed shortly after the change, about 1 year ago.
I dont play the stereo all the time, usually real quiet at lights, I hear the gurgling the most often when pulling away from lights.
